The Malibu Latigo, our most sought after and celebrated design is a huarache  moccasin, often referred to as the best multi-purpose Beach Moc available.

Back when surfers headed south to Baja Mexico to avoid the crowded southern Californian surf scene in the late 1950's, they befriended the indigenous people of Mexico who introduced them to these types of simple yet complex and rustic hand-woven sandals.  Since then huaraches are also referred to as 'surfer sandals.' 

With a return to traditional design approach using contemporary engineering techniques and using cruelty-free vegan materials, we've updated this classic style and everyday wear.
